There are over 300 million Twitter users and many of them are increasingly becoming active on the platform. Also, Domino’s has more than 8000 stores worldwide and millions love their pizzas.
So how about mixing the two up?
Did I confuse you? Don’t be, we are talking about an extremely convenient way of ordering a pizza from one of the most popular pizza delivery services in the United States.
According to USA Today, the company is soon going to let you “tweet-a-pizza” which means you will tweet a specific emoji to the official Twitter profile of the company and your pizza will get ordered with just that!
Patrick Doyle, the chief executive officer of Domino’s says about the feature that “it’s the epitome of convenience,” because now they have “got this down to a five-second exchange.”
More than 50 percent of their sales are already being made digitally, and we all know that majority of the youngsters would do both i.e. be a tech savvy Twitter users (or at least a social media user) and order pizza. So I guess it was the obvious step forward.
Doyle continues that they want to churn out the easiest way to order a pizza for their customers – read youngsters:
